Last month the North Dorset School Sport Partnershipwas one of 3 SSPs shortlisted for a national innovation award for “The creation of a new activity/approach to engaging the diverse needs of young people”. This was presented by Baroness Sue Campbell, Chair of the Youth Sport Trust and UK Sport, in recognition of the work the Partnership is doing with Indoeurope using Indo Boards in North Dorset secondary schools; work which we are currently continuing to build upon.

The White Air Indo Board Challenge has taken place on the Saturday 20/9/08
on the Isle of White, UK.
We had 2 winners Ricky McGuff and Daniel Tweitman.
Daniel had the edge when it came to Ollies and Shuvits, but
Ricky's Juggling tricks while IndoBoarding convinced the judges to
Proclaim Both of them as Winners of "The 2008 Indo board / White Air Challenge"

On the Saturday 20th of September live on the White Air RAF Freesports stage will be the first ever Indo Board Performance Championship consisting of the best trick performed within 2 minutes. This event is open to all and the winner will receive an Indo of her or his choice and loads more goodies for the runners up!
A raffle to raise money towards SURF AID will also be held over the weekend! The winner will be announced on Sunday 21st!
Indo boards will also be available to demo during the long weekend in the White Air ‘have a go’, so come along and get interactive in this World leading Extreme Sports festival!

Europe's top wakeboarders battle it out at London's Premier Waterpark for this year's crown in Mens and Womens Categories.
The "King and Queen of Cable" winners, each of them will get an Indo Board as prize.

Jase Fern , the founder member and current secretary of the Army Surfriders Union (ASRU).
has dicovered what he calls...The latest innovation in "core stability training" ,the Indo Board Balance Trainer!
"I see a huge benefit for all sports through this system and thought i should share the wealth as it were!

It not only trains core stability but also is great fun and addictive as anything (As those of you who were at the Army show will be only too aware!)  There are even plans to use it in our Mess for Christmas fun and frolics!

I fully believe in this system as a great way of keeping fit and improving all round core stability.
